About VOCS-1
CreationSpace’s first model in development is focused on unlocking and democratizing consumer insights through our novel Voice-of-Consumer Simulator (VOCS).
VOCS-1, our first iteration, combines AI and extensive real-world consumer data to simulate consumer behaviors at scale. With VOCS-1, companies can more efficiently and accurately understand consumer groups and their preferences.
Our study
We partnered with a large agency to test VOCS-1’s performance against a 500-person consumer insights survey focused on the Food & Beverage space. After asking the same 15 multiple-choice questions found in the survey across 4 distinct categories,
VOCS-1 achieved an overall accuracy score of 90%.
Here, we define accuracy score as VOCS-1’s ability to successfully output at least 2 out of the top 3 options indicated in the consumer survey.
*Discussions with brand managers highlight the consumer bias often found in insight survey results, with respondents often skewing towards lower reported willingness to pay than what is proven true based on actual spending habits. VOCS-1 shows early signs of being more accurate in reflecting real-world consumer behaviors as compared to insight surveys.
Why does this matter?
Traditional consumer surveys can cost tens of thousands of dollars and take weeks to months to run, from properly ideating on structure and questions to sourcing consumer panels and analyzing results, among other activities.
VOCS-1 delivers the same insights instantaneously, enables infinitely iterative questions, and drives agility in insight delivery – all saving teams valuable time and resources that can be reallocated to higher value-add activities. In other words, with VOCS-1, insights become endless and cost effective, quickly elevating the role of insights generators!
